SmithDavidson Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in Art Paris 2025 with a presentation of Australian First Nations Art highlighting works by some of the most significant Indigenous Australian Artists, celebrating their unique visual language and cultural heritage.
The selection includes works by Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Rover Thomas Joolama, Paddy Nyunkuny Bedford, Minnie Pwerle, Jake Tjapaltjarri, George Tjungurrayi and Johnny Warangkula Tjupurrula. Through their distinct styles and storytelling traditions, these artists offer a profound insight into the rich artistic legacy of Australia’s First Nations. Their work reflects deep connections to ancestral lands, ceremonial practices, and Dreaming stories, expressed through intricate dot paintings, bold color compositions, and dynamic abstract forms.

For the past two decades SmithDavidson Gallery has been hosting regular exhibitions of important modern and contemporary art by Australian First Nations artists in Amsterdam, Miami, and at partner venues in Sydney, New York and Mexico City. SmithDavidson Gallery also exhibits and has exhibited at premier international art fairs including Art Paris 2025.
SmithDavidson Gallery adheres to strong ethics for acquiring artworks in the collection and believes in full transparency in the field. The gallery has implemented a resale royalty of 3% on all gallery sales of Australian First Nation Artist works. These proceeds are dedicated to a national foundation to support first nations artist, families and communities as a whole.
