In this painting, Miriam tells the story of her country, it represents the lands and various geographical features.In the piece, the concentric circles in the centre represent water holes, with the waved lines running to the four corners representing moving water, possibly sub-terrain or soakage areas. The curved lines around the corners represent 'tali' (sand hills).
