This piece is inspired by the issues that took place in the Catholic Church and recently revealed (apperently also in other Churches).
At the right a pope is sown by nuns; at the left Maria by Children. But Maria, the woman, is actually positioned as a prostitute by the Church.
In the middle hangs the virgins who are abused. At the top of the gallows stands a man (we) who is watching pitfully.
